No Bake Peanut Butter Protein Bites

No Bake Peanut Butter Protein Bites

These No Bake Peanut Butter Protein Bites are an all time favorite at our house! Everyone LOVES them! And we always fight over the last few bites!

It’s easy to see why we love these so much!

    • They take just a few minutes to make
    • They are healthy
    • They are full of protein so they make the perfect snack
    • They are delicious!
    • There is only 4 ingredients–common ingredients that we always have on hand!

These are technically a “snack” food, but I regularly eat them for breakfast! I have also given these to my children as “dessert,” because there are chocolate chips this is perfectly acceptable to them!

I know there are a lot of recipes similar to this floating around the internet. I really like this one because it is basic–so basic that I have it memorized! I stripped this recipe down to the basic ingredients to make it easy and for a few other reasons: I don’t add flax seed because we can eat an entire batch fairly quickly and a lot of flax seed in a short amount of time can cause some…er… digestive issues for some family members. I also don’t add honey because the peanut butter and chocolate chips make these sweet enough that they don’t need the extra sweetness. Those are healthy ingredients so you can easily add these to your recipe if you wanted them.

So are you ready for easiest protein bites ever?

  • 1 cup old fashioned oatmeal (GF oatmeal is used in our house)
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup peanut butter (or any nut butter of choice)
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

Put all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix until well combined. Shape into balls and store in an air tight container for up to one week. All the ingredients are shelf stable so no need to refrigerate. How many protein bites you get depends on how big or small you roll the balls. These take less than 5 minutes to make!
